When we first threw out the idea of an ‘i love bg’ Song Contest, we were all excited by the prospect but just weren’t sure how many people would be interested and actually submit something. Our initial goal was to get at least 10 submissions while hoping for a few more. As the last few days of the contest period came around, we started adding up the names and felt sure we had about 30 entries through the various submission methods.
When the sub-committee got together for our listening party to narrow down to the Top Ten, we had 48 songs to review, some with videos! As if we need another reason to LOVE BG! We definitely have some talent.

Don’t worry… an ‘i love bg’ album is in the works, so you can listen to these and several more whenever you like. We’ll announce the Top 3 (or 4 or 5!) on May 21 to let the public voice their opinion, then the winner will be announced on ‘i love bg’ Day June 2 following the Hot Rods baseball game.
